As a teenager, Erik worked with his father Tom in the family construction company. Later Erik worked with Jacovitte & Grinath Contractors in Maryland and Pennsylvania working in residential and commercial construction, development and renovation. In Tucson, Erik ran a manufacturing company, which produced and installed architectural metal fabrication across Arizona.
We had the opportunity to work intimately on many homes, buildings and furniture by Rick Joy (www.RickJoy.com), Rob Paulus (www.RobPaulus.com), Les Wallach Line and Space Architects (www.lineandspace.com), Will Bruder (www.WillBruder.com), Page Repp (www.Repp-inc.com), Doug Wilford, Wilford Construction (48 E. Ft. Lowell Tucson, AZ), and others in and around Tucson and Phoenix. Our projects varied greatly in size, scope and style and were always challenging. Some of these projects are available for public view: The Barrio Bar and Grill (all exterior metal work Rob Paulus), Tucson City Hall Entry Way (stainless metal work) Line and Space Architects, Rick Joy Design Studio (all interior and exterior stainless metal work), Convent Studios (ask for a tour from inside Rick Joy design studio). Living in Tucson since 1989 Erik has grown to appreciate the unique opportunities that our Sonoran Desert life presents.
Before Jodi joined Erik in real estate she worked in the topographical mapping and servicing field producing photogrammetric maps for the construction industry, land surveyors, land developers and municipalities across the world. Through this career she worked intimately with legal boundaries, drainage, flood zones, utilities, wells, zoning/land use and topography. With her art degree from California State University of Long Beach along with her experience as a graphic designer for Continental Binder Corporation (a national leader in promotional corporate advertising) Jodi creates powerful advertising that sells real estate.
